Titan is a phenomenal bird dog, great pheasant hunter in his younger days that could cover a wide field, natural retriever, and an even better grouse dog in his older age.
Bena is an all around machine. Competitive drive, crazy at retrieving, great sport dog (given dock diving, and lure coursing), and a nose to track down any wild bird.
We knew these two were both proven bird dogs so we bred them producing one of our most outstanding wild bird hunter ~ Nova Raine.
Nova was born December 3, 2018
As a pup we seen something in her and we knew we couldn't let her go. She spent her first months learning to track scent with quail. She became a natural with her "super nose" as we call it, tracking the whole hunt. Staunch, stylish points, eager to please, natural backer, and a born retriever. This little girl spent her first year training behind our top grouse dog, "Buddy" and has learned all his tricks of the trade. Woodcock are a natural for her, but even better she's learned the grouse game. This past season she alone has held family groups of grouse, and kept them pinned until the shot. Nova Raine is on fire and we couldn't be more pleased with her!!
